Welcome! I’m Danica. This blog began somewhere deep in my bones; a seed that needed sunlight and watering, otherwise it would eat me up. Although I wish I was sitting in a comfortable work table, sipping hot coco or tea with a calm view of the ocean while blogging, I’m not. I don’t have a proper work table (except at the office). I’m also four traffic hours away from the nearest beach.

Here you will find ramblings of any kind, but mostly my humble pursuit of poetry and fiction writing.

I studied Theatre Arts in college and I now work as an events project manager. It took me years to get to where I am now after graduating, including a lot of dead ends and what seemed to be an endless hunt for a stable job, and tons of anxiety and panic attacks. One day, I hope to get back into the waters (or hardwood floor) of the theater.

Fun fact: the difference between me and the rest of the entire population of the earth is coffee. They all drink it, I don’t. I’d like to think I’m special that way.

PS. Hey if you don’t drink coffee because of health reasons like me, hit me up. I swear I don’t know any single person who doesn’t drink coffee.

Hello, Anthony. Thanks for swinging by! Hopefully, you did find a much healthier alternative to replace coffee (or maybe not) 😉 All the best in your journey too! Take care xx

I just wanted to write you to tell you that I’m weaning myself off coffee because it gives me heartburn or makes me panicky. I drink caffeinated tea or juice instead nowadays. Not sure why coffee has the effects it does on me and not other caffeinated drinks? Anywho, so glad to have found your blog and thank you for stopping by mine. Love your poetry!
